Home Page
Thank you for your interest in
Scout, a Journey in Faith.
Dear Readers,
This website has been prepared for you, and, in addition to learning about my new book,
Scout, a Journey in Faith, I hope that you will also explore the whole website and find quiet moments of illumination and inspiration to enjoy on these pages. With that idea in mind, please see especially
Excerpts from Scout (bringing you a taste of the book),
as well as the
Poetry & Ponderings section (which will include both published and previously un-published poems, as well as the occasional inspirational "pondering").
The
Bio link provides a little insight into why I wrote
Scout, a Journey in Faith, while the Introduction in the book itself provides much more about that, starting with when I was ten years old when the Lord told me that someday I would write the "story of [my] life for Him".
This website is very much a work in progress, so please come back often to see the changes, especially in the
Excerpts from Scout and
Poetry & Ponderings sections,
and the new
Prayer & Notices page,
all of which I hope will comfort and challenge you, and ulimately cause you to seek the truth of God as never before.
The
Lively Links page brings you links to others' websites that I find interesting, illuminating, and helpful, and I hope they will be a blessing to you, too, as you explore.
The
Freelancing - Intro and
Freelancing -Profile sections are directed toward freelancing endeavors, but if you're curious, feel free to take a peek there, too.
